Overview

Will Adams has been a practicing architect for over 40 years. Though still continuing his professional career, Will created Design Sense, where he delivers educational talks regarding the built environment to the public.

Throughout his career, Will noticed there seemed to be a lot of confusion regarding planning and developing in the built environment. He published the book, “The Alphabet of Architecture”, which in his own words, is “a primer, a first step, to start people thinking about the areas in which we live, work, and play–if they are good or bad, and how they can be improved. The book is intended to introduce some of the basic concepts, tools, processes and participants that are involved with the design and development of the built environment”.

The book was developed to work in conjunction with the Design Sense program.
