Overview

WasteNot Composting will help businesses in the food industry save money while making a significant contribution towards a greener environment. 14% of the material that ends up in landfills is food waste, which creates methane – a greenhouse gas that is 20 times more harmful to the environment than carbon dioxide. Food waste will be diverted from the landfill to the WasteNot Composting facility where it will be transformed into a valuable soil amendment used for landscaping, gardening, and erosion control. They wanted a logo that would focus on the fact that food scraps can be a resource instead of waste – tying into their slogan: “Making zero waste a reality”.
